Who We Are
We are a congregation deeply rooted in our faith in Jesus Christ. Our membership is theologically diverse yet grounded in the inspired Word. We have a strong sense of mission. Energized, enabled, and inspired by faith, St. Andrew members are intent on serving others and actively partner with local, regional and international missions. Following Christ’s example, our congregation has love to give, and takes time to do so. Greatest of our gifts is that Christ is among us, in us, and working through us. Our genuine sense of community is enhanced by a sincere appreciation of each individual, a healthy sense of humor, enthusiasm, and joy. We have dreamers among us to spark inspiration, doers to reach the goal. We are theologically liberal and are inclusive in our open invitation to all. As Jesus lived a life of compassion, we endeavor to follow in His footsteps.

What We Believe

We believe the Holy Scriptures sets a standard by which we try to live our lives. At different times in our lives scripture speaks to us in new words. In our discussions, we place a high value on intellectual diversity. As a congregation, we love to discuss, debate, and respectfully listen to one another. We want to serve and reach out to those who are hurting and do not yet know God’s love. As believers, we dedicate ourselves in action, prayer, and resources toward this effort. We do this joyfully as individuals and as a congregation. We are aware of our own sins, times when we feel separated from God, and our need for God’s grace, love, forgiveness, and mercy. This awareness leads us to forgive, love, and be patient with one another, humbly walking with those less able to endure the pressures of our world.

Mission Statement

St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, through God's grace, is a loving, accepting, inclusive congregation serving others and fostering spiritual and personal growth for all ages. We rejoice in God's presence and in the abundant gifts we are given. We strive to be ambitious disciples of Christ and to provide a safe supportive haven for all.

Greatest of our gifts is that Christ is among us, in us, and working through us. Following Christ's example, our congregation has love to give, and takes time to do so. Our genuine sense of community is enhanced by our sincere appreciation of each individual, a healthy sense of humor, enthusiasm and joy. We are a work in progress and believe each one of us is a gifted child of God. Our welcome is extended to everyone.
